Brokenness in Freedom

Hey ya'll. How are you doing? Everyone from Bible study doing okay? Has it sunk in that we've no lessons to work on this week and are finished (corporately) until the fall? If that brings you to tears, no worries; I'm working on a couple ideas that might help us supplement until September.

Now, since my brain is entirely disengaged today, head on over to Lysa Terkeurst's blog (founder of Proverbs 31 Ministries) and read her most recent post. Its GOOD. The one phrase that caught my eye and my heart was this: "Her brokenness couldn't handle that kind of freedom. Not yet."

Are you aching for some freedom? Some release that won't let you go? Perhaps, and I'm SO not assuming for your situation, but PERHAPS, its because you are not ready for the freedom. The broken area in your life just could not handle it. And the hold is a blessing. The restraint is a gift. I'm just saying...well, not even me. It was Lysa. Go read it and let me know what you think.
