All Things

Been having a rough time as of late. Weird, out-of-the-ordinary stuff has been happening to us the last couple weeks. In fact, dear hubby said he wasn't getting up tomorrow. The last two Thursdays something horrible has happened to him and he's just not going to get out of bed to find out what it will be tomorrow. (I'm praying God gives him the hugest blessing yet...is "hugest" a word?" You know what I mean, right?)

I haven't mentioned Living Proof Ministries' Bi-Monthly Memory Verse Challenge lately but I'm still doing it. Are you? Anyway, the memory verse I'm doing for this half of the month is 2 Corinthians 9:8 which says, "And God is able to make all grace abound to you; so that in all things, at all times having all that you need, you will abound in every good work." And I'm claiming that promise in truly every situation. Like the one that happened yesterday when I thought Carly's hand was broken after she pulled over a piece of antique furniture that had Rachel's nail polish sitting on top of it and she had hot-pink nail polish all over herself, her clothes, the wood floor and the rock wall.... I claimed it. Her hand is not broken and the nail polish came out of everything but the clothes. Or like today when I thought I broke a filling on my tooth and had an emergency visit to the dentist and found out that nope, my tooth is just fine, I'm just orally-sensitive. Apparently. I was praying for some "all grace" to come in to my "all things".

Anybody else's "all things" needing some "abounding grace"? Wanna share how God has proven Himself able?
