Words

I read this yesterday and cried. It touched my heart. I'm a wordy-kind-of-girl. I like words, like how they sound, like the bounce and rhythm of a well-constructed thought; I enjoy creating a verbal picture, not just in black and white, but in full color.

Here's the thing with words....they cannot be taken back. Once out in the open, they are there, for life or for death, to bring healing or hurt, to love or to wound. To remember or regret. No delete key is present when a word is spoken; that is why they carry such power.

God's word has power. With His words the world was created. With His words, life was given. With His words, He heals. With the Living Word, He redeems.

God ALWAYS uses His word wisely.
