I'm Baaaack!!!!

Hi friends,

How about this? Its not even Thursday and I'm already posting! God is giving some direction in baby steps and I'm feeling more and more comfortable about blogging again. Does that seem weird? Anyway, the first order of business for me was to update my profile picture. I have to be honest....that original picture was a wedding picture from NINE YEARS ago. (insert big sigh here) Yes, I was stuck on how I looked from nine years ago. Ah, insecurity....such a familiar blanket....too bad you give me a rash and can no longer be a part of my daily life.

The current picture is from this past summer. We had a local photographer (thank you Amanda! You can see her work here and if you are local to the area, please use her services...She's awesome!) come over to the house. We had dear hubby's parents, sister and her family come for some group and individual family photos. I cannot tell how precious these are to me, as just two months later we lost our matriarch to cancer. I about balled when I saw the group photo of all of us, with Naomi holding Carly on her lap. It was just this past summer! Time moves by so swiftly and silently...we must be so careful with the time we're given!
