New Year, New Look

Hello bloggy friends!
I have missed you. How was your holiday? Hello to any new friends that have happened on this site. Welcome! I do hope you'll come and visit often. We like company.
The only thing I did over the holiday was change the background to the blog. What do you think? I think I like it. I needed a change. And since it is a new year...a new look to go with it. Thank you so much to www.cutestblogontheblock.com for providing free, premade, easily-downloadable backgrounds for technologically-challenged people like me. You are such a blessing for people like me.
Well, since I haven't typed or had to think past showering and food the last week or so, my brain is a bit muddled. And so is the post. So, welcome, welcome one and all. As I get back into the swing of things I'll be posting more regularly and hopefully more coherently. :-) Let me know if there are any topics you would like to discuss (or avoid). I am hoping to have some great Jesus conversations with you.
Over New Year's I was blessed beyond measure to read about how God has sustained so many through a very hard 2009. You'll find the link here. It was amazing to read person after person who loves Jesus even through - and more so through - the hard times. It was a hard year for us too, on many levels and yet one I would not wish to give up. Or repeat.
