Blah blah blah

I didn't know what to call this post and I didn't want to ponder. So there you go. A s-t-u-p-i-d title. :-)

Okay, on to the meat of the matter. What do you think about this statement from C.S. Lewis? (Well, it may not be an actual quote from him. I was watching the movie Shadowlands again the other day and the C.S. Lewis character in the movie said it.)

"I pray because I am needy. I pray because I can't help myself. I pray because the need flows out of me all the time, waking and sleeping. It doesn't change God, it changes me."

What do you think about that last statement? Do you believe its true? Not true? Why? Its your turn! Tell me what you think.

  1. Yes, I belive prayer will change us. The more we pray and think of God first the more we see him work for our good. God is not the one who will change it is going to be us.
