Busy last week and weekend. Today was nice and quiet. Which was nice. And quiet. Rachel and I spent the mid-morning nap cleaning and purging her room of unwanted stuff. However, as the morning wore on, it seemed we found priceless treasures we forgot we had. And very little stuff to purge. After sneaking out a couple bags full of things for our yard sale, her room looked amazing. Tonight as I tucked her into bed she said, “I like my room cleaned up. Did you know you couldn’t even see the floor?!?!?!?” Mercy. Was it THAT bad? Had it been bothering her and she…we just didn’t realize it?
I’m hoping by the end of June our house will be purged of the unnecessaries of life and we’ll have a lovely yard sale where I’ll make enough money to buy the girls a couple storage units for all their priceless treasure.
