Okay, time for a little humor and lightness to the blog. Dear hubby and I were discussing the funny words Rachel used to say when she was smaller. Things like:
"goggie" for doggy
"hell-i-cocker" for helicopter
and most recently, "poison poke" for poison oak.
What funny things have your kids said while mastering the language? Do share. Please?
My son loves apple juice. We literally go through TEN 96 fluid oz jugs every 2 weeks - and that is with it watered down (to save him from serious bowel-issues). Anyway, when he finally learned to ask for it by name, it sounded something close to "hoppin' jew". Hysterical. His most recent addition "I love you" sounds a little too much like "I eat you." I think we need to continue with our speech therapy, huh?
