To My Rachel

Seven years ago today I was SORE, TIRED, and deliriously happy.....




Today I am still deliriously happy, overwhelmed at my blessings and in awe that I get to be the mom of the best Rachel I know...

Rachel,

You are sweet and kind, tender-hearted and an old soul in the best ways...

You love Jesus, your family and pretty much everyone you meet.

You love to laugh, have fun and read a good book.

Being a big sister has its challenges but you love your sister like nobody's business and consisently amaze me at how you care for her.

You dance, kick tail in karate, bowl, sing, color and read a book better than any first grader I know.

You have overcome so many challenges in your seven years and it has only made you a better person, if that is even possible.

You dream big, love bigger and can't wait for the next great adventure.

Some day when I grow up, I want to be just like you.

Happy Birthday sweet girl! You are one of the best gifts I never thought to ask for! It is an honor and privilege to be your mom. Thanks for making me a mommy...YOUR mommy. I love you so.....
